#1 Thing To Lose Weight


Stop, yes, I said stop eating out.  There are fast & easy-prep meals you can make in 10-30 minutes. Recent research has shown the size of plates have increased and so have the portions.  Dinner plates that we are served on today are more like the platters of yesterday. 

My good friend sent me info that she and a group of 8 coaches had lost 916 pounds in a weight loss competition!   Well the picture she enclosed showed all 8 before and after pictures and that was my impetus to start a new era in life.  I immediately joined their group for training and I have been teaching in Weight Loss Challenges for over 10 years, now.  I love seeing people, face to face, encouraging friendly competition and learning how to get results with great nutritional meals, tips and products that help them get fit while reaching their weight loss goals.  

One of the very 1st things we teach is the importance of portion control and when you eat in a restaurant, you lose that control, some restaurants publish their nutrition information but most of time underestimate the calories & fat content. Sometimes a meal has more than 1200 calories, the amount you should be eating for the entire day.  Most recipes we give you in My Challenges will be about 500 calories, low fat, low sugar and well-balanced meals designed by Dr. David Heber MD, PhD, FACP, FACN and Susan Bowerman, MS, RD, CSSD, FAND.
